In-line sheeter with extrusion – flying knife cut

Sheeter to cut downstream the extrusion line

The RIPLACUT in-line sheeter has been developed by Pasquato to cross cut thick materials downstream the extrusion line. Our current applications cut PP from 12 to 24 mm thickness with grammage around 4200 gsm.

Flying knife cut is based on a carriage which goes back and forth between two positions.

Operations process consists in:

  1. synchronization of the speed between carriage and web (material);
  2. cross cutting of the web through flying knife;
  3. repositioning of the carriage.
